Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) is pleased to confirm that it has executed lease agreements for two ATR72-600s to be operated by Silk Avia. The first aircraft has successfully delivered to the airline and marks the first new ATR 72-600 in central Asia. This announcement is an update to the previously announced Silk Avia deal and follows the change in ownership in Silk Avia LLC to Uzbekistan Airways, the flag carrier of Uzbekistan, headquartered in Tashkent. Through its collaboration with ATR and TotalEnergies, NAC is offering the equivalent of 6% SAF on both delivery flights.
