Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) has signed a Carbon Offset Service agreement with Pratt & Whitney Canada to help minimize the Company’s emissions footprint.

P&WC’s Carbon Offset Service compensates aircraft emissions by sourcing high-quality carbon offset credits from South Pole, a globally recognized provider of environmentally sustainable solutions. NAC has chosen to invest in a project that is both Gold Standard Certified* and CORSIA* compliant to offset its operations.

The signing of this agreement represents NAC’s commitment to reducing our environmental footprint and to driving forward its support of the industry’s commitment to achieving net zero emissions.

Brian Power, EVP Fleet Operations at NAC, said, “NAC has a long-standing relationship with P&WC and a shared vision to integrate sustainability into all its business activities. We are pleased to leverage P&WCs’ Carbon Offset Service to accelerate our emission reduction and make a real impact on environmental sustainability”.

“Our Carbon Offset Service is a transparent, cost-effective and flexible means for customers to offset their emissions and contribute towards greater environmental sustainability every time they fly, while we continue to develop next-generation engines,” said Scott McElvaine, Vice President, Business Development & Commercial Services, Pratt & Whitney Canada.
