NORDIC AVIATION CAPITAL A/S completes the sale of three ATR 72-500 aircraft to Borajet

Nordic Aviation Capital is pleased to confirm that it has sold three ATR 72-500 aircraft (MSN 588, 701 and 702) to Borajet (Turkey). The aircraft were previously operated by Alitalia Express S.p.A.
Nordic Aviation Capital purchased the aircraft in September 2009 from Alitalia Linee Aeree Italiane S.p.A. and Alitalia Express S.p.A. both of whom were under Extraordinary Administration. Nordic Aviation Capital signed a Letter of Intent with Borajet on the 1st October 2009 and delivered all three aircraft to Borajet by 31st December 2009 as contractually agreed.
Nordic Aviation Capital is the world’s largest turboprop lessor and will mark its 20th birthday in 2010. The company provides aircraft to well known carriers such as Lufthansa, American Airlines, US Airways, SAS, Flybe, TACA and Air France affiliates; other major regional carriers including Wideroe, Aer Arann and Cimber Air as well as providing aircraft to airlines in emerging markets.
