Nordic Aviation Contractor A/S is pleased to announce that Jan Melgaard (46) will join as Executive Vice President from 1 May 2008. Jan will be based at the NAC headquarters in Billund, Denmark.
NAC in Denmark was founded in 1990 and is today the world's largest independent turboprop Lessor with a portfolio of approximately 40 turboprop aircraft (primarily ATR42/72 and Dash8). During recent years NAC has also become active in commercial jet aircraft and today has a portfolio of approximately 15 jet aircraft (primarily B737 classics). NAC has a strong global leasing platform with all functions in-house, including a JAR-145 certified technical department.
Nordic Aviation Contractor’s current fleet includes Boeing 737, MD 82, CRJ 200, ATR 42, Dash 8 and Fokker 50 aircraft. Our customers include US Airways, SAS, TACA, Wideroe, Cimber Air and Air Baltic.
