Transnusa is a privately held, regional airline operating scheduled domestic services from its main base at Denpasar Ngurah Rai Bali International Airport and secondary base at Kupang to points in Bali, the Lesser Sunda Islands, Nusa Tenggara and Sulawesi. Another key activity is providing air charter services for numerous major corporate clients in support of their offshore oil and gas extraction activities, including "fly-in, fly-out" charters. Operations under a major new contract with West Natuna Consirtium (Premiere Oil UK and Star Energy Ltd began in September 2014, with regular flights carrying Chevron personnel between Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and Dumai. In November 2014, it launched regular passenger services between Jakarta Halim and Natuna Ranai. TransNusa also offers corporate, tourist group and VVIP charters as well as medical evacuation flights.
